Sliding Scale
I understand that starting therapy and paying out of pocket can be a significant commitment and expense. Because of this, I maintain a limited number of sliding scale spots. It is important that if you can afford the full rate, you pay the full rate. Those who pay full rates allow me the flexibility to offer sliding scale prices to individuals who may face various barriers that make accessing therapy more difficult.
Private Pay and Insurance Reimbursement
If I do not accept your insurance and you choose to pay privately, I can provide you with a superbill. A superbill details all the services you received and the amounts paid. You can submit this to your insurance provider in an attempt to seek reimbursement. Please note that your ability to receive reimbursement depends on your specific contract with your insurance company. I recommend reaching out to your insurance provider ahead of time if you plan to submit superbills.
You are responsible for paying for your therapy expenses at the time of service. If you are eligible for reimbursement through your insurance, they will reimburse you directly. If you have any questions regarding this process, please feel free to reach out.
